Growing in Maturity
Whether we are using a study guide or a DVD series our Tuesday night coed group, armed with their Bibles, eagerly dig deeply into the pages of scripture prompted by intriguing topics resulting in spiritual growth.
This is our men’s weekly gathering to search out the truth and wisdom of God from His Word -the Bible. This scripture-based exploration gives our men a setting in which to examine the deeper understanding of Jesus as the central message of both the Old and New Testaments. Meet on Thursdays at 6:30pm at the church.
This four-week class provides a solid foundation about understanding who God is, what His purpose is for your life and how we can assist you on your journey to become all God wants you to be using the Word of God, the Bible, as the standard. It’s a journey that we take together because you cannot fulfill God’s purpose for your life by yourself. The in-home small group (limit 5 people) provides a comfortable, friendly setting to ask questions and dispel false teachings.
This eye opening seven session class is held in relaxing home atmospheres with an intimate circle of no more than five people. Our Powerhouse class introduces you to the often-neglected Holy Spirit revealing his purposes; why Jesus sent him, how he operates, how he communicates and how we can partner with him so that we are equipped for what God has called us to accomplish.
Prayer is dynamic and can change lives and circumstances! In this six-session small group class discover biblical keys that unlock truths about our verbal petitions. Deeper understanding empowers you to move from merely a prayer activity into a vital link with God and all His resources.
Faith In Action
Intercession means to earnestly pray for others; our neighbors, our schools, our Country and our World. The 4th Wednesday of each month, we gather together (at 5:30 pm at the church) for an hour of intense prayer for God’s blessings on the people.
This year’s exciting VBS Program theme is “At Breaker Rock Beach”, where kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true. Kids will be challenged to know that God’s truth never changes—even when it’s radically different from what some people say. They’ll discover that God does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Kid’s will enjoy a week of learning about Jesus through Songs, Crafts, Games and even Snacks.
The Bible reveals God’s passion for all people to know and serve Him, known as the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Through God’s leading, we allied ourselves with Pastor Alex’s ministry in the Philippines providing prayer and financial support as he unceasingly shares the love of Jesus in an immensely poverty-stricken area of the world.
Like other amazing volunteers in town, we thoroughly enjoy serving our community at the MACC for two weeks every year. Reconnecting with so many people there gives us an opportunity to fortify relationships, pray with people and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We enjoy the opportunity and fun of preparing and serving dinner to the community one month out of the year in support of the ANGELS free monthly community meal program. Combing (live) worship music, the meal and fellowship time makes a sweet atmosphere for us to stay on top of prayer needs, celebrate praise reports and share the love of Jesus.

We’ve all suffered a lifetime of hurts, accusations and wounds that may still influence our behavior. When believers can’t seem to gain victory over them it’s time to break some chains! Using Biblical principles, Jesus guides our team to the evil spiritual roots, thereby breaking demonic chains and evicting spiritual trespassers! The name of Jesus sets the captive free from their oppression.
Grieving is a natural process when we lose a loved one, but grief is a process, not a destination. For those who remain stuck in grief, this five-session class reveals God’s design to equip the bereaved with spiritual tools. This enables people to move forward into the life of joy that God desires for us.
